Heya folks,

I need help with my graphics card. I bought a used RX 570 8GB from Facebook last February. All was well until I decided to clean my PC. After cleaning, AMD drivers started timing out after nowhere, at seemingly random intervals. After searching far and wide, even as far as reinstalling Windows, I have concluded that the problem is the card’s VBIOS (I found some discussions here that seem to confirm my suspicions). I mean, the card doesn’t even have a brand to begin with. Also, the card’s clock speed gets stuck at 300 MHz under load, so that can’t be right. It does spike up at fixed intervals, but its performance is absolute trash.

What I specifically would like help with is to find the card’s original VBIOS. Attached below are some pictures of the card, including its part number. Also included its VBIOS. I’m able to provide more pictures if you need it.

Some advice on restoring the card to its original state would also be nice.

Thanks.

It looks like a OEM RX570 card from Sapphire. Did you try this vbios?

Does the timeouts still occur when the card is underclocked?

Did you use DDU before installing a recent driver? Do you have a spare system where you can test the card?

You can try to flash this vbios but keep it mind it is not the official bios:
