I have a ISP connected to a D-604, in the D-604 has a PC thats not mine, and I want to setup my other router a TEW-633GR so its just for my "room network" I manage to do this, but uTorrent gets lower download speeds.

I don´t want to connect the first router to the a LAN port because i want the firewall and increased safety from my TEW, how do i setup both? I tried to disable DHCP on 604 and all was working fine (utorrent slow though)

Connect the modem to the D-604's Internet Port.
Connect the TEW-633GR to one of the D-604's LAN ports.
Leave DHCP enabled on both.
Forward the utorrent port on the D-604 to the TEW-633GR(or even better, put the TEW-633GR in DMZ mode).
Forward the utorrent port on the TEW-633R to your computer.

If you don't forward the port through both routers, you will get worse speeds.

Will try it out

The DHCP should be in the same range? 604 is 0.100-199; TEW is 10.100-199

The TEW will receive a dhcp address from the 604. And the TEW will hand out addresses to your room network. All home routers use NAT and its not entirely wise to turn it off. So youd want dhcp to stay on.

Note you will get slower latency using another device as it is another router to go through

Yes, make sure they use different ranges.
