DDU to wipe all driver entries, reflash original back up Bios, you should ALWAYS back up the bios before you flash. do clean install of new drivers.

You likely flashed the wrong BIOS.

Disable automatic driver updates.

the gpu it was mining on hiveos not on windows but i flashed the gpu with some roms that i jave found on techpowergpu with both on hive and with nvflash on windows but the gpu is detectet and the drivers work fine just it wont mine anymore regardles what i have tryedtill now

The reason it messed up is because W10+ love to update on own, plus mining doesnt help at all.

Get a sticker pic from the back of the card please

You prolly need windos to fix along with a clean install of hiveOS after.

i havw just reflashed the gpu on windows with nvflash and same results i cant figure out what is wrong with it because i see some info not showing up well the first thing i have noticed after bios flash installed ok amemory type mismatch and the gpus core clock not showing this is the eeason that i belive it wont get to mine

i have knowledge regarding on how to bios flash an gpu either on windows or in linux it is not a big deal for me just i cant find an stock bios from the exact gpu on the forum . there in no rom like this same gpu the roms that i have found just 2 have been proved to detect and install but still npt from this model

Is it this card and not the O8G?

Please stop flashing

This is the latest bios i can find.

To me it sounds like your OS is borked and will need a Reinstall.

By clock speed the bios i provided is the correct 1.

Put that in and reinstall your OS.

Perhaps the card pulled a muscle.

Perhaps the card pulled a muscle.
i dont think it has to be a memory failure just reflashed the gpu ended ok uninstalled drivers with ddu a clean install of latest driver intalled ok with no problem gpu has ben detectet pn windows but when i start gpu strees test it crashes and reboot the system. it cougt my eyes somehere due searching for rom something regarding the flashing that has to match the rom with the board something about A First variant and second variant gpu. this i belive is the problem that i am not geting any result till now

Well try the bios, is the most we can do. If its crashing under stress that indicates the card did pull a muscle.

Or the power supply is weak.

did we mentioned that the gpu we are talking about has a swithch that is for 2 roms and the gpu rom is diferent for the other when reflashed the bios samw results from both switches but one thing i jave noticed is during driver install on the secondary bios switch the gpu crashed during nvidia driver installation at 50 60 % after all i have concluded during those atempts i have made i jave noticed some mismatch on pci e to 1.0

the gpu after reflashed i did a try with linux on hiveos and after the startup no overclock at all applied just stock the gpu have very low power comsupion and stock settings not even closer at all so the gpu refuses to work and this is the reason i belive it os 100 % bios rom mismatch with the gpu because the gpu was not overclocked at all and not stresed if this is that you are refering

Did I get this right, your (Windows or Linux) OS was performing an automated driver update (is that a thing with Nvidia?).
After that your card wouldn't work anymore & and you thought a Bios flash would fix it? :wtf: Even though the OS didn't do an automatic Bios flash.

at the time that the gpu was working fine and not bios flashed the gpu was mining on wiheos eherum the pc performed on hive a driver update and after reboot the rig was ctashing soon after miner starts i have removed the gpu s one by one and i found that the rtx 2070 was causing the crash i dind get how this was caused and after i removed it and mountet back the other 4 gpu diferent type 1060 1070 1080 ti the other gpus mine fine with no problems. the bios flash i jave atempted was performed on a diferent pc now that i use as test bench i reflashed with somw other bioses that i jave found but they are similar but not the exact gpu that i own and iam quite confused because after reflash with no errors at all on the miner are quite a few things that not match ps power is quite down and core settings not match at all

i made the post hoping that anyone have the exact model and made an upload off the stock bios rom to make a bios flash on the website i have checked the asus rtx 2070 oc roms and the upload that i have see not 1 is my model but 2060 super or other bioses from 2070 but not like mine i have dawloaed quite many and triet flashing i concluded that just 2 or 3 after all was flashed sucefully but not working the gpu yet i tried to bee as much precised regarding my attempts i was not mention to perform an bios flash for any higher hashrate just the idea of getting back to work the gpu it was quite new purchacedsecond hand by a gamer and i mined aproximately 2 to 3 weeks with it with no overclock at all

Perhaps the card pulled a muscle.

How-To Flash RTX Video Card BIOS: Step Two - Correct BIOS

This is the hard part of the guide since no one BIOS fits all. The first thing you should know is all these BIOS links listed below and in general, this guide is only for Reference PCB cards or cards the same VRM Controller as the Founders Edition. Second, if you have a Non-A variant of the GPU, you cannot flash it to the A variant. Example; TU104-400-A1, TU104-400A-A1. This is because NVIDIA has effectively classified it as a different GPU altogether, therefore the "A" video card BIOS will not work on a Non-A card. You will need to find out what card you have before flashing. Some have reported NVFlash will give a GPU Mismatch error, other times it will just blindly flash and brick the card. For those who do have an A variant, they can flash their cards by following this tutorial. Those who don't are out of luck. This mainly because of the "OC" models of non-A variant cards also have a low power limit. Therefore making it pointless to flash those cards at all.
