Both support AMD CPU's (processors) and both support PCI-E 16x for a graphics card.
Any PCI-E 16x capable card should work (which is probably about everything you can buy atm).
So the 8600 will work on both motherboards.

The M2N is supposed to be better for displaying High Definition video, but since you're buying a seperate graphics card, that shouldn't really matter.

As for the CPU, you need to know that the motherboard doesn't come with one installed. As I am not really educated about the current AMD processors, I can't give you solid advice.

Maybe some things you need to post so other people can also help you out:
- What will you be using the comp for? Gaming? Browsing? HD Video display? HTPC?
- Are you going for power or low energy consumption?
- Is it necessary to get a micro-ATX motherboard or can a normal size ATX fit?

Last but not least, Google is your friend. I had absolutely no problem finding the specs on the first hit I got typing those model numbers into Google.
