Need more Sata Power

Hey all. This may be a dumb question but here it goes anyway!

A while back after I purchased my new PSU I held onto the extra cables for a while. Then, like an idiot, I tossed them thinking "I will never need all these cables!" and here we are.

I have another hard drive I want to toss into my computer but now I have no open Sata power connections. Looking on Amazon I am having trouble finding what I need.

I have a fully modular power supply (Seasonic X-Series gold 650W). I still have 4 open slots or so for peripheral power. What I would prefer is a sata power cable that connects to one of those (6 pins) and then has a few connections off of it, not just one. That's like what was included with the PSU. When looking on Amazon I see the 6 pin connections but they only have one sata power cable. Furthermore, a lot of what I am seeing are like 8 inches in length; that won't cut it. I need to be able to route this behind the board and back out, for a clean look.

Any ideas here? Am I searching the wrong stuff? Thanks guys!

Ah, that would work. Should I go with that or would the Corsair one work as well? Difference is about $10 and shipping between the two.

I think the pinout may be different on that Corsair cable, for their PSUs.

Use the Seasonic branded cable.

dont mix and match between brands or even series/models with modular power supply cables, you'll just cause a fire and kill your hardware. Get the exact right cables, or dont get any.

you can use generic sata/molex splitters to add one or two more drives, and in the future DONT THROW OUT THE CABLES

Well, I have a Seasonic X Series 850W. I am only using 2 of my SATA cables. (3 are supplied if I remember right)..

But you can buy a full OEM kit on Ebay for the X Series.

Corsair uses a SLIGHTLY different pin-out on their peripheral cables. Its basically inverted compared to Seasonic's placement. (Jayz2cents found out the hard way.. killed a 500GB SSD using a cable from another manufacturer)
