Need Speakers...

I have been using a simple set of Logitech's 2.1 Z-340 now for a couple of years. And for a $25 set of speakers they were so nice. Ok I have been trying to get a set of Logitech's Z-2300 for about a year (too much and shipping was a killer).

Finally they had a set at Justdeals.com ($69 and FREE SHIPPING) These are SOOOOO SWEEEET.

If you need speakers GET THEM...(what ever they cost)

and I am not even using my Audigy2 Plat yet (on board sound)

I promised the kids next door that they could have them...Its cheaper to buy new ones ($25 and free shipping) at Justdeals.

Thats a pretty good and cheap place to order. I still don't know if I would use speakers when I play games, It's usually a headset.

no, not really because right now I have a 5.1 Klipsch speakers in my room, with a huge subwoofer. my living room, 7.1 Polk Audio surround sound. Patio, I got Bose. Parents room I got Bose. They wouldn't care if it was loud either because my dad listens to all, and my mom listens to my music, RAP!

psshh i cant wait for my !!5.1 ZALMAN HEADSET!!! for 49.50... that way i can play games and watch movies all to myself and enjoy true 5.1 personaly

Why don't you opt for some Logitech 5300e? Only 134 at newegg, and I've personally heard them, they sound very nice. THX certified too, which almost always guarantees good quality.

I personally have some X-530's, they sound ok for budget speakers. I plan on taking out the stock subwoofer and putting a JL audio 6inch sub, or I might go with an 8inch sub. Even though the subwoofers need more RMS output than the amp can push out, it will still sound richer and better than the stock subwoofer.

I also thought about taking the subwoofer from my Z-340's and putting it inline with my X-530's and run two subwoofers.

headphones are the bomb! I had the Plantronics GameComs for a long time, and they're great. I have logitech headsets on right now.
