Netgear debuts open-source router

On Monday, Netgear announced the WGR614L, what might be the world's first native open-source consumer router. What this means isn't exactly clear; Netgear representatives couldn't be reached for additional comment by press time. The 802.11g router is available now within the U.S. at select retailers for $69.

i feel bad for people who get those, they only have 4mb flash and 16mb ram, its cool but, it is an absolutely bare minimum, you would think that for that very high price you could get something with more ram and more flash space, infact i would pay 100 dollars for one with a flash card port and a slot for ddr2 memory [very cheap] :( waa
 
seriously whats with them rehashing computing power from the 386 days :*(
am i right?
