I'm building a new computer with GIGABYTE GA-Z77X-UD5H and I'm coming up with error codes 19 / 15 / 51 on the board which are the pre-memory North Bridge and South Bridge initialization is started errors and memory initialization error. Can someone tell me what to do. It will not boot until this error is taken care of. I tried taking the cmos battery out. No luck there. WHAT ELSE IS THERE? PLEASE TELL ME WHAT I AM NOT DOING? Stuck right here:confused::banghead:

Could you try a different set of RAM? Also try one stick at a time.

Also I LOLed at the Poll

Nope

Thanks for the suggestion, It didn't work. Dang it! I've put together bunches and bunches of computers and this is the first time this has ever happened.

have you tried to turn it on without ram
does it beep
if it doesnt beep, it looks from your board
btw if you have another pc you can test the other hardware on that to make sure

I had error 51 which denotes RAM stick being the wrong slot for dual-channel config. Try a stick on slot 1 first and see what happens.

On a related note, apparently there is an ongoing issue with these boards with regards to hanging shutdown/restart. You will have to manually hit reset in order to reboot (at least on mine I have to).
