Ok, so I guess I am not going to get a prebuilt i decided to go build my own, but not build it myself. :) My buddy is going to build it at not labor charge, so hell with it.. But here is what I came up with.. I am trying to keep the price as low as possible right now. Better suggestions on these things would be great:

The build

Ok, so I have 2 different builds:

This one:
https://secure.newegg.com/NewVersio...hListNumber=3707854&WishListTitle=slipsplice3

Or:
https://secure.newegg.com/NewVersio...hListNumber=1839483&WishListTitle=slipsplice2

Those are my 2 choices, first one is prolly better, but lets let you guys decide.

need to fix the links :slap: :D

good job:)

Should be fixed now. :) But overall, will this system last me a while, and are the part reliable?

so whats the max you want to spend

haha call me a cheapo but $800, with everything ready to go..I know I shouldn't of went AM2, because it is going to cost to much, and I still need a monitor. :(.. Think you could help me out DOM? :)

:wtf: help you out with what ?

building a new system, since this one is going to cost to much..or do you think that you can make this one ( by working your magic) equal out around 800$, meaning can you find me some better deals on things.. And if you don't think that this system is worth it, could you help me start a whole new build on here. thx for the help.. :)

well mine was like $1200 maybe less still need to send my MIR's

so what do you want a AMD system or C2D ?

I think that's a great budget build. You don't know anyone with an old CRT monitor to get you by until you can afford a nicer one?

AmD is best for me right now..because C2D would be 2 much.. so yes, AMD..:)

are you going to want to OC?

If I do it won't be much, I want to make this machine be a good one for a while.

my advice, look at my system specs, and read what i said in that other thred you started, cheap but also very expandable and overclockable!!!

and with current a64 chips theres no reasion not to overclock, my 3500+ is currently at 3gz on stock retail air cooler!!!

I still say the dual core is the way to go. It's just more future-proof. I'd rather pinch a little on peripherals and get the all around better processor. Even though most games don't really benefit from dual core, more and more of them are supporting it. It's just a matter of time before they all do.(Same goes for any program, actually, not just games)

hes building to game really hes currently better off getting a cheap yet very clockable chip then when k8l comes out grabbing a dualcore then, video games are all about the video card!!!!

and spend the extra 30bucks and get teh x1900gt, it stomps the x1800gto!!!!
