Hello. What do you guys think about adding the old Yahoo! Messenger emotes to the TPU forums? In my opinion, these are some of the best animated emotes ever and are way better than the ones currently available.

Over my desecrated corpse. First of all animated smileys are stupid, and if they have to be animated they should be as simple as possible. The yahoo ones you linked look like progenitors to the smileys many platforms have today and they are so horrible they're unusable. The yahoo version of is

I prefer KISS: Keep It Simple Stupid.
I'm fine with the select few animated emotes we already have. I honestly don't want to see any animated Yahoo emotes as they were so overused in conversations, it was ridiculous. People couldn't type a sentence without using at least three of them somewhere in it. Its like as if they have to express something with an emote after every word or end a sentence with a string of them.

Nah the ones we have are OK.
Not like you need to add more than 1 smiley when you're writing a comment, I'm not part of the generation that uses emojis for literally everything.
