OK, so finally got a gpu today to finish build. Turned on pc, all lights and fans spinning. 2 issues,
1. Nothing is displayed on monitor when pc is turned on.
2. Red led light on for boot.

System stats
Mastercooler td500 white
I5 12600kf cpu
16gb cl16 3600 ram
Asus tuf aio water cooler
1000w psu
Rtx 3070 gpu.

Gpu is lit up and fans spinning, so yhere is power to it. I've tried different hdmi cables none work. Tried display port cables nothing.

Please help, thanks

I’d worry about the motherboard led first… What motherboard are you using?

Just in case you ask its the top right led that's on. According to manual that's the boot led. The fact I haven't installed any software yet or been able to use a monitor yet I can't do anything with the boot.

Check basics like is the Ram in the correct slots, use one stick only to test.
Is the display cable connected to the GPU.
Are all power cables inserted fully and in the correct place.

OK boot led has went out after changing ram in different slots. Now yhe bottom right led is on which states graphics card status.

OK, now disconnected power from gpu and red led light still on for vga/ gpu status

Changed pcie cable to a different socket on psu and led light out for gpu, but now the top right boot led is lit again.

Picture of fill mobo and red led lights.

OK monitor turned on and loaded to bios, boot led still lit but I assume thats because its looking for an operating system to boot from???

Ok, hdmi doesn't work from gpu to monitor, tried different hdmis and nothing, it says no signal. Any ideas? Currently running display port.

Boot light will most likely stay on until a bootable drive is connected.
I noticed you are using the piggy back from one cable to power the GPU, it is better to use two cables from the PSU to the GPU.
