My new Acer 26" VGA panel monitor arrived yesterday, and I have to admit it is awesome using it, you can see it from any angle, and the colors are the same. The 1900x1280 resolution is amazing, I can do work and browse the internet at the same time. This monitor has a VGA panel and not a TN panel. The TN monitors can only display 6-bit color, and although have faster response times and contrast ratios, they have a bad view angle. On a TN panel you would get this shadow going across the screen when you look from a different angle. A VGA panel has true 8-bit color and no shadows come across the screen when lookd upon from a different angle.
