Well guys, you may be wondering what is happening with DDR3 reviews at Techpowerup. Especially with that juicy Core i7 and Tri-Channel memory kits popping up at insane speeds all over the internet. Well: fear not! We will have you covered in the near future. Thanks to the guys at Foxconn and Noctua we now have the basis for some of those reviews you have come to (hopefully) love. The choice of a CPU has not yet been made, but expect to see a reviews based on this rig in the new year! And now time for some pictures of this crazy board:

Foxconn I don`t have any respect for that brand. But this board live me speechless.

This board appears to have the best memory performance, including overclocking. Thus being the choice for memory reviews, and noctua cooler, i haz it!

*drool* Should I ever go with i7, I want this to be my bride...I mean board. Too bad there aren't many boards on offer around here. But I'm sure curious how this board will work out - well if TPU chose it as a review board... it must be good.

Love to hear how good this thing is. Looks mighty nice. Maybe when I go back to work. ^_^

Thats a mighty fine bit of kit, will you be doing the testing DS or has w1zz commandeered the board ? :D

i sees no noctua cooler

i sees no noctua cooler

True ^^ should I take a picture of the CPU cooler? I thought images were available aplenty of the cooler, both on the review sites and on the manufacturers page. In fact Noctua was so kind to equipp all of our review stations with their CPU coolers (DDR2, Dual Channel DDR3 and Tri-Channel DDR3 among some of them)

I should also mention that Foxconn even provided us with a BlackOps X48 for dual channel testing ;)

cheers

Well I get to use this board. Wizz is getting a Gigabyte X58-Extreme for GPU reviews ;). That board has already arrived. I will be sending it his way after CES. As you can see, we are moving forward onto the new platform in all directions.

cheers

Nice, Are foxconn putting there name out a bit more Ive seen a lot of feature packed nice looking boards from them recently ? Drawing from the OEM experience they have maybe ?

Staff got late Christmas presents :) Looks sexy.

Whoo Hoo go TPU! Nice SB heatsink!

Edit: so what will be the final system specs be for reviews?

Finally someone grabs it. Do you feel as awed by its beauty as I do? Also, what does Noctua have to do with this? Also what is that heatsink covering below the tri ram slots?

Well both Foxconn and Noctua are supporting us to give you some good reviews :) I cannot honor the one without the other.

I do not know what that heatsink is, but it is 2 am ^^ I should go to bed. I will let you guys know tomorrow.

cheers

wicked looking motherboard:rockout:

That is what motherboards should have looked like since the dawn of time. I see no reason that they ever bothered with green, yellow, orange and all the other colors that got pulled out of a box of crayons.

Red and Black is SEXY.

Should I consider this board for an x58 platform over the Asus P6T?

WEll I hear the Asus P6T and the Deluxe with OC Palm clock really well. I am not sure on this.

@DS Thanks for that I didnt know they gave you a cooler to use as well. I cant wait for some reviews.

While that board looks damn fine and puts my p6t deluxe to shame in the looks department i do wish they had 6 ram slots instead of 3 :(

I'd give several limbs for a 6 ram slot version of the above board.

Foxconn has raised my eyebrow!

Humh??

Evidently techPowerUp! has gotten all the Blood Rage motherboards that Foxconn has made since the retailers shelves are bare.:D :ohwell:I maxed out my cards and I'm looking for a new bank to sponsor my Blood Rage benchmarking.

woow , look what foxcon do , great mobo with lovely look

Yea, you should respect Foxconn. They make almost everything.
