I tried to reinstall the game but it didn't help. My system is W7 64bit, Asus p8b75-v mobo.

I got this too. Cant remember how i resolvdd it sadly, maybe reinstalling realtek,,or whatever audio drivers you have.
Just figured it might help to know you werent the only one.i know it only took a short while to resolve,so its gotta be audio, gpu,or some othrr related driver.

I remembered !!!!
I changed the bitrate of the playback device to 48000mhz iirc,i think it was set to 92000

Go into plackback devices, then properties, then bitrate

There's a common sound issue many have, where everything is very muffled, no sound of doors, etc. For me it doesn't happen very often, and fast traveling always fixes it.

I also had this issue in Batman Arkham Origins, but after reading that updating audio drivers can fix it in that game, I found out my Realtek HD audio driver wasn't actually the latest, so updated it.

My next play through of Arkham Origins, I didn't get the sound drop out where I usually do, and after 2 sessions of Far Cry 4, it hasn't happened yet there either, knock on wood.

I remember having a similar problem with an older Bethesda game (can't remember which). I had solved it by installing CCCP.
Hopefully jboydgolfer's solution will work and you won't need to install anything, otherwise you might try if it doesn't work.
