No video input?

So I bought a Hanns-G HW191 monitor to go with the computer I am building. I finished building my computer but when I plug the VGA cables into the computer it comes up with a
"No signal input, check video cable" on the screen. What are some reasons that this would be happening?

Maybe the monitor has a option to check for analog and digital signals so maybe read the manual..

check your vga too, the vga cable. it may from there.

Don't take offense to this because I have done it. You plugged it into the onboard VGA plug not the Video card

i mean vga card
or if its not work try to release the card then plug in that to onboard vga, if it works so there must be err on vga or bios setting like you forgot to disable onboard vga
