Need help with timing adjustments. I have no idea about the settings or where to start. Have tried using the timing tool here on techpowerup and it's like trying to read greek and chinese at the same time. All i get for my effort is bios battery removal for a non bootable pc. here's what i have.

It helps if you post the actual memory module spec as well.
You might want to install the software below and share the readout from that as well, so we know what kind of memory ICs you have.

Also, you're most likely not going to want to overclock your RAM all that much, as 3800-4000MHz is going to be the ideal range for your CPU.
What you do want to try and to on the other hand, which is likely to improve your performance just as much or more, is to tighten the timings.

I think the RAM part number is in the dropdown box at the bottom.

TBH, they are Vengeance Pro RGB and with those timings at that speed, I would expect they will not move very much without a lot of extra voltage. Could be wrong though.

Doesn't really help when it comes knowing what memory ICs are used, although I guess it should be Hynix something or the other?
Considering my very similar modules, albeit CAS17, can do 3800MHz and CAS16, there might still be some room, especially for the secondary timings and tRFC.

I missed the part about the modules beling listed there.

I agree, it may have potential. I guess the revision number is the most important bit at this point to see if we can track down the IC used. TB, of course, will show all of this too....hopefully, if Corsair didn't whitewash the data when setting the SPD.

I run into things like this when a company tries to hide super-shite ICs.....

@Selaya gets the free cookie with the Micron guess. Well done.

I typically go with a simple OC style or raising the VDIMM and SOC to a certain level and see what is possible. I do feel that @TheLostSwede may have a more elegant approach.

Micron by the looks of the timings.
(But yes, best verify it with Thaiphoon or something.)
Looks like you were correct.
does this help?
Yes, that helps a lot.
You have Micron E-dies.

The DRAM Calculator is a bit old and outdated by now, but this should be potentially working timings at 3600MHz.

And this at 3800MHz.

These are not guaranteed to work, but it should give you something to work with.
You can compare those to what you have in ZenTimings and you should get an idea of what to do.
Note that you can just change tCL, tRCDWR, tRCDRD, tRP, tRAS, tRC, tFAW and tRFC (not 2 and 4), the memory Voltage and procODT and you should be in a good place.

how much can i safely raise these voltages? the SOC does what?

See my screenshots, it's all there. At these speeds you shouldn't even have to mess with the SOC.
I added the key ones to change above, you don't need to change everything, as it won't make any meaningful difference.
