Not expected performance on flashed rx 5700 evoke oc?

So I followed the instructions and flashed my rx 5700 evoke oc, and everything seemed to go fine, but my performance seems to be kind of meh/bad? It seems my flashed evoke performs even worse than a default rx 5700 evoke (I checked up benchmarks and for example on Gears of War 5, I hit sub 60 1080p and cannot seem to maintain above 60 on ultra at all most of the time. I've even tried low settings and the FPS will still struggle to maintain 60+.

Could this be an issue with my flash? I'm wondering what issues this could be, or if it's just something that happens. The first chapter in Gears 5 kills my FPS, though I have tried the benchmark and it averages just above 60 fps (with the middle/latter half of the benchmark running sub 60 so it averages to 60fps since the early portion is 70+). compared to benchmarks running at 65+ or more on average.

I had used this to flash https://www.techpowerup.com/vgabios/215491/msi-rx5700xt-8192-190903-1

I have my 5700 bios but I did not upload it when I used gpuz but its on my pc.

This is my PC

Temperatures are a consideration when comparing to others with similar systems.
Ambient AND operational.
You should only be comparing to benchmark scores you have achieved with your system, before and after the flash.

So...what was the reason for the flash in the first place ? 5700 to 5700 xt? etc...

Sorry for the late reply.

So I flashed my EVOKE 5700 to 5700 XT because I have read about the performance boost for basically no cons, so I decided why not? I got my evoke for a good price so decided to try it out. Not sure if the performance is meh or not, or if it's just AMD drivers not being up to par or something. I looked at a few benchmarks for 5700s and they seemed a bit higher than what I was getting.

This is my firestrike for the flashed 5700, I didn't do a test on the default 5700.

GPU Temps sit about 40C idle, CPU 30-35.

Running Mount and Blade 2: Bannerlord my GPU sits about 65C and the CPU is still a good ~40C (I think bannerlord isnt very CPU intensive).

So am I just overthinking it? Is it all fine? Or will I have to flash back to the 5700 and compare?

I will report back, benchmarking my Aorus 5700-XT at stock.

Running a slower CPU, higher graphics score.

I see then, it's probably just drivers or certain games not being as optimized then. Thanks.

Both of you are right where you should be..
