The latest version of NVCleanstall appears to force users to enter a hardware id template if we decide to configure advanced settings. In older versions this was not needed.
I have absolutly no idea what an hardware id template is.
Question is, how do i know what template i must select for my specific GPU? There are multiple templates for each GPU so how do i figure out which one to select?
In my case it's a 1080 Ti, the templates (see the screenshot below) show different numbers/ids, but no explenation on what they do and why you might choose one over another?
Other settings in NVCleanstall show a blue button "Help" pressing that will open the default webbrowser and show an explenation on what the setting does, would be great if such a button can be added to gpu templates.

Uncheck "Add Hardware Support", GTX 1080 Ti is already supported by the regular drivers.

Not sure about interrupt policy and priority, recommendations?

Is there any way to export program settings to import them later? It's somewhat time consuming taking care of all these programs each time a new driver is installed.

Update your NVCleanstall to the newest version. Once you've completed the Tweaks page, on the second run there will be a "previous settings" button. This was added in 1.11 or something, check the changelogs

I dont have nvcleanstall installed, only used it to install the modified nvidia driver.
So without installing the software itself, theres no "previous settings button"?

And may i ask is there software like nvcleanstall for amd drivers?

There is, but you need to run 1.13 or newer, you're running 1.10. Only 1.13 and up will save your choices "Choices made on the Tweaks page will be saved and can be restored with one click on subsequent runs"

Not that I'm aware of, I certainly don't make any. Maybe some day, when I have a lot of free time ;)

Maybe the "Add Hardware Support" label could have a better title?
just explain that its to install unorthodox driver combinations, like a gameready one on an A2000 or something (ie things that will work due to architecture, but nv just doesnt want you to do ... for some reason).
