NVIDIA has updated its beta ForceWare driver to version 169.13, which supports just about all GeForce 6, 7 and 8 series graphics cards. The only listed changes in this release are increased SLI performance in Crysis when the official patch (which hasn't been released yet) is installed and a fixed Sleep/Hibernate issue with the 8800 GT on Windows Vista. Download locations are as follows:
  • Windows XP 32-bit - here
  • Windows XP 64-bit - here
  • Windows Vista 32-bit - here
  • Windows Vista 64-bit - here

Update: NVIDIA seems to have withdrawn the driver information pages, but I've updated the links directly to the download location. Let me know if they stop working and I'll find another site which hosts them.

They release them more regularly, and don't tend to make any changes between the beta and WHQL versions (if there are any problems they just release another beta).

There's something up with that min on the 169.13s.

BTW, did you run those tests or did you find them on the net? I'd be interested to know if they were run with the patch or not. I'm guessing probably not as it hasn't been released...

dude, this has been out a week.

I runned these tests. I made two runs on every driver and calculated average fps, so this fps lag was in both runs. I dont no what might have caused it.

PS...my native language isnt english

I think all of the information pages were pulled... not sure why, I expect NVIDIA didn't want people downloading them before they were officially released. Anyway, I've updated the story to use direct links, still using NVIDIA's UK site.
