Just wanted to see if this was just my system or something more universal. I noticed it this morning when trying to set AA for star citizen to reduce silvering. Then realized it does it as soon as you close the panel.

If I go into the "manage 3d settings" and set AA to override game settings. Save then exit the program. When I restart the program the settings are back on application controlled.

I've set the main config files to administrator privileges and it hasn't made any difference.

I'm currently playing with the individual game profiles to see if those are affected.

The only thing not in my system specs is my actual monitor setup, 3x1080p running as a single resolution via Nvidia surround.

352.86 is causing problems for a lot of people at the moment (me included) Only thing you can really do is rollback to the previous driver and carry on until Nvidia release a fix.

My rig is not even recognizing mine. I've tried everything under the moon.

This is the only problem with them I have found on my card, but as you can see in the spoiler tags my card is running without any overclocks, other than the standard ones.

If it is a bad driver Nvidia should have a fix out pretty soon.

Dont fix what aint broken... :) I have disabled update notifications (everytime a big money game comes out: driver update at your gates), because everything works like a charm!

Tell that to someone with sli that needs the game to work with both cards instead of just the one

Depends on how you game, but I've found over time that driver updates are almost always an improvement. It's rare to see one that causes a lot of problems.

This driver feels rushed. I'm going to spend this evening going over the detailed patch notes to see what they changed and see if there is something new that has failed to take. The only time I've ever gone looking for old drivers or stopped updates is when I've been running on relics like 3DFX cards.

There was a time when you purposefully looked for the worst driver as you could guarantee it gave the best benchmark scores! The 3dmark 01 era this was very common as you were looking for the lowest IQ to gain the most FPS. Currently the games market has fixed that and IQ and power is all the rage and having balanced drivers that need to be tweaked is important to make that function.

that's why I only had SLI once, Eclipse.... I don't want to end up (because I have already for years) "tweaking" instead of gaming or just using the damn computer... But everyones milage varies of course. And of course, if you have a problem it's only natural to try to fix it. : )
