OK... first off, normally I wouldn't use anything made by nVidia... however, a client requested this card so I had to oblige... anyway, running nMonitor during 3DMark Tests, the GPU temp often spikes to a little over 80C..... is this normal for this GPU?
 
Yeah these cards seem to run fairly hot, I put an arctic silencer on mine and im still getting 60 - 70 depending on env temp.

You could always take the cooler off and remove the thermal pads on the mem and add as5 to the GPU and mem, should lower temps a bit.

I'm getting 48c-65c on my XFX 6800 Ultra (Stock cooling with no overclock). I suppose these temps are pretty good then?
 
Those sound good, what drivers are you using?
