So I'm running my little GTX660 with the 347.09 driver, and my whole desktop is locking up. When it gets through the locking up and freezing, I get like 5-7 messages saying that the graphics driver crashed and rebooted. This only happens on HEAVY GPU usage. Should I reinstall the driver or..?

Backed the driver back one revision and going to see how it runs tomorrow.

Fill out your system specs and specify what kind of computer you're using.

Don't just check the GPU drivers, Check the motherboard ones as well. It could be a communications error on the motherboard side of things causing the lockup.

Also have you completely removed heat and power from the equation. I'd strip and rebuild both the GPU and the motherboard of all heatsinks, And add some sinks to the VRM on the 660 if it doesn't already have them just to be sure. And make sure the 12V rail on the PSU, and the 12V motherboard connectors are solid and without fault. If you are using a power splitter for the 12V GPU connectors remedy that as well so you have 2 cables to the GPU if it is dual 6 pin.
