I'm using the in-game filters (overlay) in many games to mostly make them a little brighter. But yesterday I tried using the Brightness and Color filters in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, and a few seconds after activating the filter the screen suddenly turned black. The game worked as normal, it was just that I couldn't see a thing. When I activated the overlay again (Alt+F3) everything was visible again, so I turned the filter off. And then everything worked fine. But as soon as I activated my filter again everything went completely black.
It's basically the exact same issue as this reddit user reports:
Except that user says "games", as in it happens in several games. For me this has only happened Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora (so far at least).
Has anyone else experienced this? Do you think it's a driver bug?
EDIT: Mods, feel free to move this to the NVIDA GPUs sub forum.
