NVIDIA slipped in an update to the PhysX System software, version 8.11.18. The piece of software serves as a backbone to the PhysX API, and is compatible with 32-bit and 64-bit variants of Windows XP and Windows Vista. It provides hardware acceleration of PhysX with Ageia PhysX cards and graphics accelerators based on the NVIDIA GeForce 8 series, GeForce 9 series (with at least 256 MB of memory) and GeForce GTX 200 series. The software has been signed on 18 November, and is yet to replace version 8.10.29 from NVIDIA's software download portal.

Installed it yesterday and looking great!

Little performance boost to the earlier PhysX drivers.

PhysX 8.10.29
FluidMark: 7466 (FPS Min: 82 FPS Max: 520 FPS Avg: 125)
Vantage: CPU: 30355 (125.41 steps/s)

PhysX 8.11.18
FluidMark: 7488 (FPS Min: 82 FPS Max: 516 FPS Avg: 125)
Vantage: CPU: 30549 (126.34 steps/s)

Like how is it looking great? What have you noticed to any changes in games?

I can't show any benches because I've stopped once one of my lanes went dead on this board. But, with Fallout 3, I haven't had a lock-up on my system due to having it up all the way. I would get it when I went into some place small and detailed. Not anymore. I have UT 3. I'll try it later. But Fallout 3 is smooth now with everything cranked up.

so which game need more improve in physics

3dMark Vantage

vantage  , you can see 9800 gx2 beat 4870x2 in vantage using physics , gpu score only important and sure game performance , maybe you can see 1 more FPS in some games use hardware physics like unreal 3 and gost ricon2 , but what about most playing games like crysis

Now i get proper rips when the ball goes thru my pictures in the Physx screensaver.

DMC4, Farcry2 (I think) UT3, there's a bunch these days.

On another topic has anyone tested these yet or am I going to be the guinea pig?

Actually lost about a couple dozen points, well within the margin of error though.
