Hey guys, can you tell me the difference between the

GIGABYTE GeForce RTX 4070 Ti JEU VIDÉO OC 12

and

GIGABYTE GeForce RTX 4070 Ti GAMING OC V2

What is "v2"? Is this better ? Seems like it's almost the same thing, except for the lenght and the weight. Does it changes something ? Like the noise ? Idk

Thx

Odd, the fan shroud and 16 pin location are totally different.

Worth noting V2 is 30mm shorter. This would imply cooling is good enough they trimmed a considerable amount of cooling fins that extended beyond the PCB. At the very least it will fit in more cases.

thanks !

Ha, I have no idea what else they actually changed.

A lot of cases just barely couldn't fit 4xxx cards. Hard to forcefully maneuver a heavy brick in tight spaces without dinging it up. Maybe this was the reasoning.

I have a V2, and have found a full-cover waterblock for the original version that I'm considering.

Does anyone know if there were changes made to the PCB topology that would make this waterblock NOT fit properly on V2? Or has the PCB board remained unchanged, with only the cooler changing between versions?

Thanks for the info if anyone can provide it, I can't seem to source any photos for the PCBs.
