Hello,
I got CPU #core error snd it keeps pop up but the frequency still stayed as I set. and I know the CPUcore error might indicate there is wrong calculation there. but what if I keep it run till time's up. does it mean anything? or I should stop it and redo.

Dropped a core from temps if I where to guess. Any core you see above 90c on cores, add a guesstimate of 10c more for the package temp (off die/IHS/socket).

Can you list the system specs and maybe a clear screenshot please?

- 10 of 18 core over 90c.
- Sys. spec. Intel® X299, Intel® Core™ i9-10980XE - 18 Cores Overclocked Up to 5.0GHz*, 24.75 MB Cache, LGA2066, 128 GB DDR4-3600 MHz Non-ECC, Quad-channel, low latency CAS, No GPU orany add-on card. try to run @5.0G with vcore 1.4v. Tj-Max offset: 20.

Yeppers, it's just a tad bit too warm.
Expected temp OC all core below 85c for cores.
This will help keep it stable.

What is the cooling solution?
What is the case and case fan configuration?
