Hi, I have a gigabyte gtx 1660 ti and so far I overclocked It setting +150 MHz on the core and +1500 on the memory. This didn’t cause any crash and games were really fluid And no artefacts so far.
now I installed occt to test errors and with this Settings I get an average of 2000-3000 errors in a 2 minutes test.

any advice?

did ya look if ya get higher fps in game or lower? or in gpu-z 3d test

Higher FPS for sure, almost 15 more, Better scores with furmark bench

OCCT gpu test uses Furmark, not the most reliable and very stress intensive . I wouldn't use it

Yeah I know, buy the OC Is stabile so far, no problems at all. Onlus with occt test I had errors but not crashes

if i am ok in game i dont even test other software so its your call to pull your oc down till its ok in occt?

Tryed, to get no errors I have to set +90 core, +1500 memory

did ya try with lower memory and in same time push up core-sometimes mem-oc keeps core-oc down
and what about power limit? push that up too
could be that occt pulls your card in some kind of limit temp, power??

I'll try ti Power the memory to increase core. Pretty much Every test with furmark cause the you to touch power limit, even maxing it out in afterburner

I have the same problem, I have msi gtx 1660ti gaming X 6GB, and after oc in msi afterburner, I have errors in occt(higher OC=more errors), and also game freeze in loading screen. Temp is 78°C after OC. Anyone know where could be problem ?
My pc i5 8600k/ msi b360 gaming plus/ kingston 8GB ddr4 2666Mhz/Vero L2 bronze 500W.

at the end I just set everything to default and saved the Oc Profile for future when I will need more performance.
set everything to default and then tray to adjust only core frequency until it crashes and then step back a little to be sure it’s not gonna crash.
after this try the same with memory, and increase temp limit and power limit to max

Use occt for cpu stressing. Those errors cant be ignored. For gpu, dont use occt

+1500 on the memory is not stable on 99.9999% of all turing cards ever made.

it has Error correction that's why you don't have massive issues.

properly working and scaling the for the average cards is at around +500 to +750 (maybe 800)
but 3 Ghz extra is ridiculous and probably gives you lower FPS or 1% lows. because of the tons of memory errors that must be fixed on the fly.
