Option request to ignore (certain types of) Staff

I must admit that the ignore option has spoiled me, on this forum, so much that the Staff limitation is mildly annoying. Now, while I understand that being able to ignore Wizzard or moderators is counterproductive, the others should be fair game.

Probably nothing will come of this, but it doesn't hurt to ask.

if i were to ignore anyone of the staff here ... i might also switch to another forum ... although i see no such need (ignoring or going elswhere ) ... wanting/needing to ignore any of the staff would indeed be counterproductive,

that's an odd request to be frank ... even for fairness sake

Yeah, if you really have issues with the staff here, I think you're best off just going elsewhere. Ignore won't save you. It will however make communication harder.

I don't have issues with staff AFAIK. Some post a lot on certain topics, and as they usually say, said opinions are personal and are not meant to reflect on the site itself. It's more of a convenience request, but I can scroll past just as well.
As for communicating, I never have and I don't have any intent on engaging with whoever I had in mind. And besides, showing ignored replies is easy enough. This is more for scrolling through news threads.

Yes. I said that exact thing in the OP. I wasn't asking to ignore moderators (or the site owner).
