I was just curious to see if anyone has overclocked one of these card and by how much. With some BFG heatsinks on the ram, I was able to get the ram from about 450 to about 570 with no artifacts, with out touching the core.

i have Gigabyte X800PRO (not vivo) with def clock 475/445 and all i can do is
513/580..
gpu oc is too low for me and even watercooling didn't help :(
i guess voltmod is needed but i havent done it yet

gpu voltage is 1,39v @ idle and i think 1.65-1,7v would do over 600mhz
then i can get 13k in 3dmark 03 with 12 pipelines :D

What sort of scores are you getting in programs like 3DMark01, 3DMark03 and 3DMark05 with the x800pro?

Can you link your 05 score, I'd like a direct compare please :)
no i cant :(
i cant upload any 05 results for some reason

btw, i did the pencil mod and give gpu 1,57v
now it runs 570mhz stable :D

ok-ok new records :D

Winchester 3200+ @ 9x300=2700mhz / 1,6v
2 x Adata PC4500 @ 303mhz 2.5-4-3-7 1T / 2.8v
Gigabyte X800PRO 475/445 @ 573/573
Artefact free, no tweaks... Gpu watercooled, cpu aircooled(Freezer 64) 2ns mem & 12 pipes powaaa

3DMark Score 12910
http://service.futuremark.com/compare?2k3=3606156

and max with 1,57v in 3dmark 03

3dmark 05 @ 573/573:
5720 points

yeah-yeah-yeah, 12 pipeline powaaa :D

I'm a raging newb with a saphire x800 pro. I ran the max core check, and it was at 570 right before it blacked out and I rebooted... it hadn't noticed any errors yet when ATItool froze (seconds before the blackout). The only cooling i'm using are the fans that were put into my old Dell factory box some three years ago, and the card's own fan. I'm not planning on overclocking it very hard, since I'm a poor-ass college student who is already working on building a whole new system. What are safe levels for me to try?

i guess if u can get it stable @ 520(gpu) then u are lucky..
because the new x800pro-s doesnt want to oc at all
atleast with stock cooling/voltage ;)

my cards gpu went only 510 with stock cooling/voltage
with watercooled i got 520 and with more voltage(1,37 @ 1,57) i got
570 3d stable and atitool thought its max was 590mhz..
but it crashed even on 580mhz...

i think that yours atitool artefact search is messed up..
because its not supposed to freeze, but to show artefacts/errors

and any mhz over 520 is very good with stock cooling/voltage

about the mem oc: i think that it will run over 1100mhz 24/7 without any problems
but you should try this out by yourself

I've got it up to 510/561, and it seems to be leveling so I can't get the memory higher without lowering the core. I'm running atitool .22, so maybe theres some sort of error with the artifact scan? I'm going on 500 seconds with nothing at 510/561 with stock everything.

try atitool 0.0.23 :p
but remember that atitool doesnt always give u correct clock-s
core maybe but it cant give u a correct mem clock...

I used to have a recent x800pro that clocked to 580/550. I sold it and got a 16 pipe capable card. But the 16 pipe card tops out at 510/560 - its a bit slower than the original 12 pipe pro
