Overclocking an Intel Core i5 on a Gigabyte H55M-S2H?

Hello people,
I am posting here to ask:
What is the maximum power I can receive from my Core i5 on my H55M-S2H motherboard. Right now it's running at 1.072 V on 2.67 GHz (multiplier is x17). On http://www.bit-tech.net/hardware/motherboards/2010/01/28/gigabyte-ga-h55m-ud2h-review/3 they say that this motherboard can run the processor at 1.370 V on an astounding 4.1 GHz with a multiplier of x20!
So, my question is: what kind of cooling is minimum and is it REALLY possible to nearly double the power of my CPU?
For anyone more interested, here's my full mainboard and CPU spec's:

Thank You in advance!
P.S. What I really want to do is to OC at least to 3.4 GHz.

Lynnfield? It should do 3.6-8Ghz fairly easy.

You need to keep a fan blowing directly on your VRMs....

Basically lower RAM strap (for now)
set cpu/vtt @ 1.32v
vcore about same to start..
raise fsb 10 per boot
keep qpi freq to below 8000-ish
and see if it works :D

Thank You! One more more question... where exactly do I find the VRMs?

I have an i7 860 at 3.6GHz under a Corsair A50 heatsink, and stays around 60'c at 100% full loads for months on end. Can't get you the exact settings the 860 is running at as it is at my parents house (mom uses it as her computer)

And again... after thinking a while I still can't manage to get a fan blowing directly to the VRMs. How bad is it not to blow at the VRMs as RealTemp says it's at 39'C all the time with no ventilation?
And my CPU cores always reach 99'C on heavy load. Maybe my fan is out of it?

yikes! reduce your Vcore!
What monitoring program are you using?nm..realtemp..
Try openhardwaremonitor:
http://openhardwaremonitor.org/downloads/
Check the mount of your cooler,if it's stock, make sure all the pins are snapped in properly.
Keeping the CPU temp down is of utmost importance.
It shouldn't go over 75c.

Okay, but doesn't setting VCore to auto work?
EDIT: Nvm, thank You for Your help! It worked and I'm overclocked at 3.00 GHz and when I get better heatsinks for VRMs and my CPU I will go for 3.5 GHz.
Thank You again!
