P2000 issues

What ho one and all,

Rather than discard, I have upgraded my Dell Dimension 9200 from its bought state of XP, 3GB RAM and a Raedon X1330/1500 to 64 bit W7, 8 GB RAM and an NVidia Quadro P2000 GPU. All seems to be fine except for two details.

Frequently, when on the web, the screen goes black and almost immediately, recovers with a GPU recovery message. Researh tells me it is a TDR, but to date, I have not found a solution and that includes a TdrDelay reg hack. Is there anything else I can try to cure this annoying issue?

Second issue; in an attempt to cure the above, I have the current driver file from NVida but I get an Incompatible Hardware message every time. I have v378.84 installed but the web tells me and I have saved v441.28 but cannot install it. Again, what steps can I take to allow me to install a GPU driver update?

Thanks and toodle pip
