Okay, this motherboard has worked for ages. I do NOT have the TPU switch enabled on the board, now when I boot up I get a red TPU LED light and the boot often hangs, often with the CPU running very hot, all fans are working fine.

This problem is usual but not constant.

Isn't TPU like a built in overclocking switch? I would guess with the LED on it is seeing it as active, and if so, might be out of spec for the parts and cause it not to boot. Would also explain the CPU heat as it likely is over volting things too.

If you are sure the switch is off, maybe flashing the bios would fix this, but it sure seems like TPU is indeed active.
