My ryzen pc can't recognize my Logitech G603 or for that matter my G613,therefor i can't adjust dpi and other settings in the logitech gaming software or G HUB (same software, you download Logitech Gaming Software and you aut have Logitech G Hub)

I have tried different usb ports but no luck (or else i would have mabe a new thread)

Can i use a different softeware or is is related to windows, device manager say i have 4 HID-Compatible mice, so a different software (if possible) won't matter ?

As one who tests mice, the more you swap mice around, the easier it is for tags of old gear to hang around and cause issues.

I would scour C: and look for old software in odd places like app data, which may cause issues. You may also want to Google removal of ghost USB devices to see if that helps.

Do these mice not have DPI buttons to swap settings? Or are you looking to go more custom with these settings?

I only have one mouse with dpi button

I tried this not it works for my mouse
  1. Uninstall LGS.
  2. Open search box(windows+R) and type %Appdata%.
  3. Delete the Logitech folder in AppData.
  4. Open Device Manager, go to "Kyeboard" and uninstall all Logitech devices you see there(right click, uninstall).
  5. Download latest (r/https://support.logitech.com/en_us/software/lgs) from the web.
  6. Disconnect the keyboard from PC and keep it disconnected
  7. Restart PC.
  8. Install latest LGS.
  9. Restart PC.
  10. Re-connect the keyboard.

1. Use this registry export to disable automatic driver update.
2. Uninstall all Logitech software.
3. Open the device manager and uninstall anything related to Logitech, uninstall, check box to delete driver software if it appears and reboot.
4. Perform a cleanup in AppData\Local, AppData\Roaming, ProgramData, ProgramFiles, ProgramFiles\Common, ProgramFiles x86\Common. Look for Logitech and Logishrd.
5. Perform a cleanup in the registry (HKCU\Software, HKLM\Software, HKLM\Software\WOW6432Node)
6. Perform a cleanup for services (HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services) search for Logitech entries, but don't delete from registry! run cmd.exe as admin and type: sc delete enter-service-name.
7. Open the device manager and uninstall anything related to Logitech, uninstall and check box to delete driver software if it appears.
8. Perform a cleanup with CCleaner's registry scan and reboot.
9. Install the latest LGS.

I recently had GHub installed, can't remember if I had LGS installed on this windows installation, and it worked weirdly. So I decided to switch back to LGS. Did all that was mentioned here. But upon launching LGS it didn't see any device. Did this reinstallation and cleaning few times. Flipped the table and installed GHub again. Now it even detects Dead by Daylight pretty well. And persistent dpi also working well. Mmmmmagic. So, now I know what to do to make it work again.

I can at least confirm that G Hub and the whole Logitech mouse/rgb suite is a festering heap of cancer code. Whoever built that should be fired.

There I said it. It all went well with this G502 until I updated the software. What you want to do is get it installed and running just once, set your mouse settings in it, and then proceed to drop a nuclear device on that app and never look back.

Its mind blowing how they could've released that, really.
