Ok so this just started about a week ago, my comp will wake up from hibernation at I think the same time every morning around 10am and then turn off shortly after.:wtf: Any idea's of what is going on?

BIOS? Some have a wake-up timer.

Wake on LAN or something like that.

Ok I will check it out, but why all of a sudden? How would this bios setting turn itself on?....ok I am rambling a little...I will look, brb.

That's a network wakeup. Turn that off also.

Your right about that. That setting, or any, shouldn't change on it's own. Your PSU could be failing. Can you log the voltage over time? I know power noise can wake a computer out of hib because my livingroom computer does sometimes when I turn on the vacuum. Go figure.

Oh... So can high-power RF. Any old-school ham or CB'ers running a few kw out of a mobile around you?

well I looked in the bios and couldn't find any settings like that. I hope it's not the psu because it's a Corsair which are amazing psu. Now that I think about it, this occurs when my cell phone is either plugged into the usb port to charge or the phone is just right next to the comp.

That can do it.

my computer do the some thing whan my phone is plug in..

cellphones incorporate GSM Modems and they might wake up your PC, if they are usb based (no usb to rs232) you might check your Hardwaremanager in Windows and take the right to wake up your pc.

this trick is most time used on usb mice with laser the jigg around and prevent sleep on laptops, taking the right helped me many times :D

then check the other usb devices some of them might be the cause.

Update-

Ok so lastnight I put me phone on the far side of the room and bingo! the comp didn't wake up.:toast:

Thanks for everyone helps:)
