Microsoft's acquisition of Activision Blizzard is not yet a done deal...

Interesting read here, I did not realize that it was not a done deal yet, all the news sites made it sound like it was. lol

M$ bout to get slapped like Nvidia/Arm deal.

Edit: I wonder if Sony will get a pass on Bungie, because it is a smaller acquisition? Whole point of this would be monopoly concerns, or is my thinking incorrect?

No, you are correct but it could also be for other reason(s) too as to why they are investigating.

Nadella when he found out:

Not if that one guy had multiple complaints against him, don't recall all that well but he is the same guy right?
It doesn't matter because the problem with that guy is outside the orbit of the FTC. The FTC doesn't deal with toxic work culture issues or sexual harassment. That's to be handled by courts or other institutions.

Exactly:

Right & we all know one arm of the govt/bureaucracy doesn't nudge the other towards such "investigations" ever? It might well have something to do with the size of the merger but don't kid yourself into thinking a lot of these things will always be swept under the rug.

The guy has been under investigation by the SEC and California's DFEH for a while now. Since at least August 2021 by the SEC and California's DFEH seems to have been going for a couple years now.

If anything, you could say the FTC is late to the "party"
