I just picked up a new Intel Atom D510 mb from newegg that will be going into a M350 M-ITX case. I was thinking of buying a PCI-E Mini wireless Card for this board. I need the card to have Compatibility with windows 7 and Linux and of course the board itself.

I don't have any experience with this type of network hardware, so forgive me if I sound a bit silly with any of my questions.

I have only have one choice so far, Intel Wireless WiFi Link 4965AGN. Would this be a right choice for my board? Could there be a better choice you can suggest? I am willing to pay between twenty and thirty dollars including s/h.

I only see 2.4GHz antennas available online to purchase. Do I need two antennas or three to achieve the 5Ghz from the (n) router?

Knowing that I may need to also purchase SMA female RP pigtal. Is there perhaps a better site you can suggest to buy them from? What other names can search them buy? I seem to have problems finding it from other sources.

I'm not fearing any assembly complexity or cost by going with the Mini wireless Card. Though over all would I just have a better user experience with a USB wireless adapter? I just don't know if the card will be better then the USB. The areas that are most imperative to me would be Warranty, speed and stability.

Thanks for any help!!

unless your all up on the Access Point your not going to get the full bandwidth avaliable (actually you NEVER will with wireless). I would just get a usb stick and save myself the hassle and money. I have a rosewill N that works great.

Hassle & money are under stood well when it's just a hobby box. Hell the more hassle I'll get the more fun it will be. Heck I might even try using this as an access point or even a router down the road.

The idea of a USB wireless adapter is still a last option. Though just for reference which rosewill N do you have? There is 4 rosewill N with Up to 300Mbps.

I really was just asking here to see if anyone could offer any experience with PCI-E Mini wireless Card.
