Does anyone know any reputable websites or companies that can replace the screen on my Samsung Galaxy S3? I think it's just the outside that's fucked, it's the same brightness and all the pixels are fine so I'm thinking it's just one of these that need replacing (I won't attempt to do that myself)

You may want to consider a flat charge service on eBay by a reputable seller. I sent off an ASUS laptop with a bad screen and it came back like new for $135.

Is your phone insured?

If it's a contract then most of the time it will be...... "accidentally" drop it and claim.... seems easy and for how much they charge you per month you deserve some compensation lol

If not, most small markets and other such places will offer the service you're looking for. Failing that its off to a big vendor like Carphone Warehouse and lots more money....

Nawhhh I paid for the phone unlocked
I thought my student possessions insurance covered it. Imagine my surprise when I found out... I might try and add mobile phone cover and claim in a month or two (the phone is still useable in the mean time)

I asked around and the lowest price was £165. Apparently "you can't replace just the glass" (which I didn't believe) but I'll just keep using it with all these cracks unless I can fix it for a reasonable amount

My bank offer a form of insurance for your personal items.... but, unlike regular insurance it covers just tech items.

You may want to look in to this... it isn't very much per month and may just be what you seek. ;)

You could easily replace that yourself. The kit even comes with the screwdriver and pry tool to open the housing. Just don't fingerprint the lcd or you'll be taking it apart again after much frustration staring at it. You must have a tech-savvy friend that could do it if you don't want to.
