I like MSi laptops. This is a 2 in 1 convertible 13.3 inch with touch screen and pen. It is to replace an aging surface pro. Runs microsoft everything perfectly. Wifi is very speedy (i only have wi-fi 6, not 7, but still..) and it plays Civ 6 and Hearthstone smooth as silk.

Full Specs

ultra-portables aren't my thing, but it runs very nice.

pen writes and draws well. OneNote and Paint is awesome with windows 11 and good touchscreen and stylus.

I may even see how Roblox does on a touch screen. Never tried.

Anyways, definitely a business-focused laptop, and a bit steep at $1500, but very nice as far as 2 in 1s go.

i see a thinkpad in the corner ...

Anytime I see AI and smart in the title of a product for some reason I roll my eyes

I like MSi laptops.
I have little experience with MSI laptops but my current laptop is a MSI Modern 15 A10 with a 15.6 in screen, 16GB RAM, 512GB M.2 SSD and Intel i7-1051U and running W11. It's no speed demon but easily keeps up with every thing I need it to do. It just turned 3 years old and so far, has been totally trouble-free. I'm still a PC guy and always will be. But for a laptop, I really like it.

this used to be reserved for i<some mundane thing>. then it became associated with IoT things like ERMAGARRHH IoT Covfefe Machine!

Now its AI. when in turn its just some fancy algorithm at best. not even machine learning. smh

Did the data transfer for this new MSi tonight. Surface Pro swap over to this was super easy. Microsoft account had most of it. Fancy little Samsung T7 Shield for other data on these modern systems with super fast usb. I know lots of the rest of you remember data transfers and system swaps being a nightmare. So fast and easy now. What a time to be a computer tech.

You ever mess with zip disks?

Yeah. They were pretty cool, but the media was so expensive. I was still at the mercy of what my parents would get me back when they were really a thing. By the time i was a pro, they were mostly gone. but I saw some zip, some jazz, and even some ls-120 and ls-240. May have one stashed somewhere. If i can dig it up I'll post it in nostalgia thread. i have been diggin around for some good stuff to put on there.

While you asked someone else, I'm jumping in. I did and loved them! Still have some of my collection and have added to it. I have ZIP100's and ZIP250's. Still use them too. Very handy.
Even the 1.5 MB 3.5" is still useful
