Hi all. I would really appreciate inputs to help fixing my Samsung 840evo sdd
I originally had windows installed on the ssd. But I wanted to install windows onto my 1tb HD (because reasons) so I created a bootable usb to install windows 10. The windows install on the HD went fine .
BUT during the installation wizard, I messed with the ssd partitions: I deleted the system reserve (150mb ish) & primary and to try to create only 1 whole partition for the ssd. I thought I was able to "create new" the sdd and just went on with the windows install on the HD.
But now when I boot into windows 10 on the hd, my sdd is not recognized/shown.
I tried:
1. Running the windows install wizard again to see if I can create new partition for the ssd but it's only showing 0mb and can't "extend" or "new"
2. Open disk management from control panel. The first thing the disk management prompt is that it ask me to initialize disk with either "MBR" or "GPT"
GPT: disk is not convertible because size is less than minimum required for GPT disk
MBR: system can't find the specified
So I guess windows is able to recognize there's a "foreign" disk but I can't seem to initialize it.
Any help is much appreciated
