LAN performance on my linux machine suddenly went into the shitter. prior to today the box was transfering files quickly to all other machines. now for some reason it transfers at ~175KB/s. the thing is, WAN performance is fine. i max out my internet connection. what could cause this?

edit: did a speedtest to see if it was just LAN. obviously not. speakeasy shows full download speed to that machine but only 1 Mbps upload lmao! only this machine is effected. speedtests on all other machines are running normally. now i am going to check the ethernet cables and router plugs.

it turns out the on board NIC went bad :shadedshu i was able to pop in a really old 10/100 pci card and everything is atleast running evenly. i have been having bad luck with failing tech parts lately.
