I dont really have hardware manufacturer preferences. But, I would only go intel for now. Waiting what zen will offer then I might try AMD if zen is successful

And also, it depends on local availability. Dont really want to buy overseas due to warranty claiming.

It very much depends on research for a given component. But in general, Samsung and ASUS are the most common ones I consider as high quality and preferable for my builds. I mean, I have ASUS motherboard, ASUS graphic card and ASUS monitor. I used to have SAMSUNG monitor before, now I have Samsung SSD and Samsung optical drive. I also had Samsung HDD in the past though it wasn't anything special.

I also consider Corsair as all around great brand. Great PSU's, great cases, fans are also good and all their other stuff even though they make everything.

For fans, almost die hard fan of Noiseblocker.

The specifics of my current build can be found under specs tab in my profile, but like I said, things change depending on what I find appealing at the moment.

I thought we had a thread just like this already, oh well.

Nothing ASUS and nothing sketchy, everything else is fine.

1. - 9. Best parts at right price, at the time, doesn't matter who makes them. Why should anyone buy something else, or not buy because its not from their favorite manufacturer? They don't care about you, why should you care about them?
