My demo category reached 100 demo's today thanks to Steam NextFest today. So glad demo's made a comeback in the game industry! OLED monitor section is basically really dark games that IPS glow always ruined for me, like Metro 2033. Marvel section is just temporary, I plan to delete that one soon. I was just in Marvel mood awhile back. SteamOS Handheld self-explanatory.

I'm thinking of adding a 'Finished' category, but unsure because I tend to replay games I really love, so eh.

Alphabetically, no cats..

I have a lowly 125 games in my Steam library. All of them are good though :)

My friend has a bunch of those cat finding games. Where's Waldo, but with cats lol

They all say meow as well when you click on them, and each with their own voice. Its awesome

I don't do categories. Well I do. Installed / Uninstalled.

I have 167 games in my Steam folder:
Currently playing: Star Wars Jedi Survivor & Terminator Resistance.
165 I keep in the Hidden Games folder until i want to play one.

i tried it so many times to make proper categories but it just doesn't work with these amounts of games (many are old or wrong tags and are not recognized by the dynamic collections.)
i just have a a list where i have the games inside that i am currently interested in.

uninstalled is a good idea for one. I may add this one to mine, for games that are just a no go or finished or have too many issues.

I just get random moods to play something, type their names in the search bar (or more often: type ahead search), install them if they weren't already, play. Other than that, I usually set my library view to chronological ordering with ready-to-play filter on.

Tbh tho, there is a "C & C" collection for Command and Conquer games. I did not create it myself. I think it was created automatically when I bough the corresponding bundle a while back.

Might play around with it when I get the time to do so tho. Could be useful to filter games that could play will with controller with my PC hooked to a living room TV.

Thought I had made some, well recalled that I did... I didn't.

Categories? You guys have categories?

I just have folders and icons. ;)

I didnt even know this was an option. I just scroll my list of games  so im going to keep doing that. I already know how far down my scroll bar I need to go for certain things. If you try to clean my library list then I'll lose them.

Seems like a nice feature.
The best I can do for now:

Scrolling is so 2010.

There is a search bar. Yeah... I've been Windows 10+ indoctrinated, true. My workflow is now hit Win key and type.

Wow, just like folders!
IKR...
The things kids invent these days often blows the mind
Wouldn't surprise me if somewhere in the future they realize that we moved from ye olde folder structure, to 'search all the things'... back to folders except now called differently. You see it everywhere, its hilarious, the fake innovations. Look at streaming services like Spotify, or your photo apps. Now, we upvote content and have it relegated to separate categories, albums etc, but automagically, except... then you could just as well have dragged the stuff there to begin with

You guys have categories for your games? Now I feel inadequate :(

Same here. It would take me more effort to sift through my categories than finding my games by their names (not to mention the search option which is instantaneous).

Yes, I have a very complicated category system, it was very hard to create it. Not recommended for beginners.
