how do i use this?

all i got was a vbs script?

Question, how do you work this thing?

this visual basic script file "starts" when you double click it

make sure the file is called Restart-Time.vbs, not Restart-Time.vbs.txt

Ok this thing is a joke, I restarted the computer myself and usually takes around 30-40 seconds, I used this thing and it was just hanging there for about an extra 50seconds doing nothing, I got 86secs:wtf:

OK now I just got 47secs, WTF, this program is awesome:laugh::laugh:

system specs are under my name

isnt there a thread like this already?

I'll convert that VBS into a .NET Application...

I attached it below. You need .NET Framework 2.0 or newer to run it. It shouldn't leave any residual data on the computer, it operates on UTC time (in case you have different time settings for different users), and it works on the local machine instead of user accounts (so if you change user accounts during the restart, it won't matter). You can run it from anywhere, just don't delete it until after the computer restarts.

Here's my time (with my app):

Jesus that's long. Both the VBS and my app get 95-100 seconds. :(
