I note many sites no longer even let you connect with Internet Explorer. For example, if you call up IE and try to log into penfed.org/ (Pentagon Federal Credit Union's website), you get redirected to this page.

Hmmm, not sure. If it only happens with that Adobe product, I sure would assume it is them and not anything on your system.
