Hi guys, how are you? I am writing because I have a problem, days ago I installed windows 11 24h2 and I do not know when it happened, but the green bars that indicate when the sound is emitted disappeared, in the advanced panel of windows if you see them move, but not in the classic one. I have tried to reinstall realtek, several versions with drive store explorer, use only the headset disabling realtek and the same thing happens to me, could someone help me ? ty

Have you considered that it disappeared with a Windows update?

Wow , microsoft never ceases to amaze me on how to turn a great OS (Win7) into a turd.

probably, if anyone else had the same thing happen to them
I have Windows 11 24H2 with the latest updates of April 8 2025 and don't have this issue (see graphic below)

Realtek sound driver is the latest version of the one supplied by the motherboard manufacturer.

Have the same issue
hmmm... it seems to me that this comes since I updated to 24H2.
But idk if ts issue comes with this update or other updates (cumulative updates for example)

you were the one who uploaded the thx driver ? thank you very much I'm enjoying it a lot, better than dolby access and boom 3d.

Speaking of windows, it is something that is updated while you are installing it, that's when it causes the problem, it would be difficult to know which is the update that does it, but my windows 24h2 was going very badly, I used lossless scaling and had to put it in high priority, like the games, I had no choice but to return to 23h2 and block the update 24h2, now everything goes well and I have the sound bars again.

Yep... and i glad you enjoy it :)
PD: Volume Leveling enhancement bug with Minecraft UWP was solved with a new update. In my thread I mentioned about that problem, probably an audio tweak was made to the game and that made that bug fixed

Hmmm... It's a little strange, but there are indeed some problems with this update. You did the right thing by reverting to 23H2. In my case 24H2 goes the same as the previous update
