Hey Guys
i have this problem since i installed windows 10. i tried to find different solution but nothing changed. i have intel hd 4600 installed with the nvidia 750m that give always the code 43. i made a conclusion that it needs to be flashed but whenever im trying to flash it, it gives this error and i dont know what to do
EEPROM ID (20,00FF) unknown and EEPROM not supported. i tried to do that with all Nvflash version but it gives the same problem, made a clean uninstall using DDU nothing happened as well.
my laptop is lenovo ideapad y510p. bios version is 3.08
anyone can find me a solution please
thanks

Flashing it is not the solution and will likely never work because most Laptop GPU's use a vendor specific BIOS

I guess all you can do is contact Lenovo Support.

Hi

Not seeing Y510p model on the compatibility list for win10 here or here

all driver support for Y510p looks to be geared toward win 8.1 here

Note: Code 43 is general hardware fault stop [communication error]

+1 INSTG8R flashing the 750m is not the answer

It not having support I find a little odd tho. I'm typing this on my VERY old Laptop with an 8400M G on Win10 with "current" drivers 341.95

As mentioned, code 43 is a general protection stop error.
It means your device shut down to prevent a possible fault from causing harm.
Generally it is caused by a power issue, remove the battery and try running off mains power only.
It could be possible the GPU may have over heated at some stage and baking the motherboard is an option, but leave that until last.
