Problem with Nvidia driver

Hi, a problem after updating the Nvidia driver to the latest version.

I have an Msi laptop with an RTX 4070, and after installing the new Nvidia driver, the driver installs fine but does not support Cuda and PhysX, the two checkboxes do not appear.

The question is which DLL is involved for Cuda and PhysX support ?, to make the checkbox appear

I wrote to Nvidia support and they tell me that the drivers are installed correctly and working, with basic cuda support.

Blender also tells me that it can't find compatible GPUs for computation like the Z GPU, a few months ago after the first setup both Blender and Z GPU worked with the GPU

Benchmark Scores None, but I think they'd be fairly decent.
Are there important features in the latest driver that you need, or have issues you were plagued with solved? If not, maybe just roll back to the previous driver?

Run driver installer once again, choose "Custom Install" and then check the "Clean installation" box in the choice menu. That should remove old/this half-installed driver and make it proper.

I tried various solutions by uninstalling the drivers and inserting the older ones but no solution. This is the link on the Nvidia forum link

Besides my previous suggestions there you can launch Blender in debug mode via blender_debug_gpu.cmd and review the logs in c:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\Temp\blender\debug_logs\

Meanwhile i think there is a divergence between the new drivers and your probably outdated laptop's BIOS
What is the exact model name of your laptop and did you update to the latest BIOS already?

Thanks, i Tried, they show me support for OpenGL, OpenCL, but no CUDA working.

On GPU Caps Viewer on tab CUDA: "Number of CUDA devices: 0"

Hi, I did a test and installed Windows 11 on an external drive via USB and, Windows default drivers with Blender worked fine with gpu support, also Zgpu showed cuda on box.

Then after downloading the Nvidia 537.58 drivers both blender and Zgpu worked and Zgpu showed all the boxes on

but the problem remains in the internal unit
by, and thanks

Sounds a bit like NVidia registry settings corrupted from previous drivers installations. You need to do a deep clean up.
Standard NVidia uninstaller, NVidia Cleanup Tool, DDU, driver explorer
