Can anyone help me to understand this ? .... (SS attached)
'Performance Cap Reason' (PerfCap Reason) is displaying when there is no reason for it to show any issue.
Application displays 'PWR' intermittently with 'IDLE'.
All GPU parameters are well into an 'Idle' state (no 3D application running, standard desktop)

Thanks!

For some reason your cards thinks it's exceeding its power limit.

What do you see regarding power limit on Advanced Tab, General and NVIDIA BIOS?

"Power consumption %" seems to never get even close to 100% ?
What's the highest value for "Board power draw"?

Which card model? Bought new or used? Maybe failed attempt at BIOS flashing to remove the power limit?

Hi .... The card is a Gigabyte Nvidia RTX 2060 which I bought new. I have not done anything to the card. It has been in use for about two-three years.

I have attached the GPU-Z SS which was captured when I was in a game.

Now note that the 'PerfCap Reason' is totally at 'Idle'.

My main thing here is trying to figure out why the GPU-Z is doing this. I have not seen any abnormal behavior in any of my other monitoring tools.

Interesting, never seen that before. Normally you'll probably get PWR when gaming and idle when idle, seems the opposite for your card.

Good thing is that game performance will be normal for you, and you'll never notice the slightly reduce performance in desktop

Yes. Thank you. I am just curious as I had just downloaded the latest version and was wondering if there was a bug or something.
and, yes, at least all hardware is working normally.
Sort of 'basackwards' from reality....
