I recently finished building my first computer. Everything works perfectly except the sound card that came with my ASUS P5E mobo. Wehn I go into window's device manager, it has a sound controller listed as not having drivers installed for it, but when I try to install the drivers, Creative tells me I have to hardware that supports their drivers. I'm nearly positive that the sound card is hooked up correctly inside the computer. I've been trying a lot of things but nothing seems to be working. In the mean time, I've been working on OC'ing my processor. I'm having some fun with that.

Creative does not make the Supreme FX II. You can get the drivers for it form the Asus website.

oooh, that would explain it. That weird though, because it came with my mobo; so I incorrectly assumed that it was for my sound card.

Thx much, i'll go get those drivers now.
