The game will be delayed until July 24th for the PC. No information on exactly why though. It looks like the game will come with a service called Radnet and will offer free content from April 24th through June 7th on the console.

Radnet

Seems like Heller will adopt bad ass Lost Planet 2 guns @Nuts magazine. Worth to wait.

Hey guys, this game will be releasing soon for the PC.

Anyone got this on 360/PS3? I will be buying it and probably doing it through Radnet.

I loved the 1st Prototype, I mean it had all the great things I love:

Open world
Easy to start side missions
Cool Plot/story
Great upgrades
Challenges

Also the trailer for this is AMAZING, check out the first trailer on Steam:

Full HD, great music track, great insight to story line, AMAZING graphics.

I'm seriously happy about this one :) :D

yeah I played it on 360. it's alright. sales are so bad Activision killed the studio that made it last week.

I did hear that, makes me kinda worried. :/

the IP is dead. the problem with Activision is they no longer have room for B titles. Activision will fund a new IP but if it doesn't become a hit they will kill it.

I think the chages they are making are a last ditch effort to break even.

If it isn't Call of Duty, Activision doesn't care anymore.

I'm sure Acti will be in a panicked state dropping anything and anyone that doesn't produce big profits for them in anticipation of the probable payout following their legal entanglements with Ward and Zampella, and I for one am going to revel in it.

One more week, still debating pre-ordering it.

I wonder what Activision would say about future updates/support since the studio isn't around anymore.

all the major problems the first game had still exist. think of the game as a side step.

I would wait until Steam Holiday sale and hope it pops up. on the other hand summer is slow for new releases :o

Prototype 1 IMO was a mess of too frantic and hectic a pace and a broken stealth system. It played like an mp game without focus. Then again, that mentality kinda describes Activision lately. In their only caring about profits, they've lost focus of what is most important in games.
